Maximum power is delivered in a computer that is both thin and light. The internal components have been redesigned to offer a real power while sharing an optimized design. This model is also equipped with operating system OS X Lion Mountain. It fits perfectly in this new configuration.
The laptop is built to be "mobile". Thus, it is more lightweight and slim, plus ease of use is great. Apple has been working on a design with a thickness of 1.9 cm. The weight is also a strong point (1.62 kg). This 13-inch MacBook Pro Retina is 20% thinner and 400 grams lighter than the previous model. The screen has the highest resolution, so you can enjoy all the benefits of the Retina technology with vibrant colors, very wide viewing angles and high contrast.
Two versions of the MacBook Pro Retina are sold, 13 and 15 inches. It has both an LED-backlit display with IPS technology. The first offers a native resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels (227 dpi) and the second 2880 x 1800 pixels (220 dpi). Prices range between 1749 and 2899 euros. Both processors are available, dual-core Intel Core i5 clocked at 2.5 GHz and Intel Core i7 quad clocked at 2.3 or 2.6 GHz.
